The hotel's colonial ambiance is charming.
The acoustics in the hotel made sleeping difficult, especially when other guests returned late or left early. Despite the hotel's central location, great for exploring, the peace I hoped for was elusive, leaving me feeling quite exhausted.

OMG, I loved the gorgeous courtyard vibe! Super cute and, like, the staff was so sweet, always smiling and ready to help. Breakfast in that historic dining room was bomb-fresh eggs and fruit. Just wish my room was bigger, felt kinda cramped sometimes. The noise from the disco was a bit much, but still, totally worth it!

We expected something much better especially given the very high references score of this hotel!! the entrance is very nice but the rooms do not keep up with the expectation! the double bed was very small, and everything else (bathroom, breakfast, staff) was definitely at a lower level than we expected.

I didn't feel like leaving, had a very nice experience and would love to come back here some time. The place was exceptionally clean, I booked the double room with views of garden, everything was good. I booked a room with a very comfy bed, a mini fridge bar, a dining area and a work desk...
Not obvious to find.

It was just a perfect match for a lightning stop in Arequipa with good value for price. The staff took extra care in preparing a really good breakfast just for us at a designated time to avoid crowds. Make sure to check out the cozy shared areas for relaxation.

This family run hotel is set in an historic mansion in the center of the old city. The courtyard, reception area and the dining room are finished in stone and the white lava common to this area. Our room was in a newer building and very comfortable, very clean. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel, and the location. The best part, however, were the people behind the front desk. They were all exceedingly kind and helpful, ask a question and you received some very good advice. The El Conquistador offers charm, comfort and wonderful people at a great price.

Had a blast with friends! Great location to explore local sights and enjoy the nightlife. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made each morning. The colonial style of the hotel. Totally recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and have fun.
Our room got a bit warm during the day with no AC or fan, which could have been uncomfortable. But we were out exploring most of the time, so it wasn't a major issue.
